I used to wear a white t-shirt, one of my dad's vests and an old fedora in homage to him. (I was maybe 6 or 7 at the time. I understand now that might be in style among millennials.) This time of year I reminisce about his ode to Christmas greed, "All I Want for Christmas is a Doodlyboop," my first personal 78 rpm record. I still have it somewhere (we are a hoarding kind of family). If someone can show me it's worth a lot of money, I'll head for the attic to find it.
