For Fun Friday, when has a big buildup let you down?

Life is full of disappointments, they say. And they’re right. Most of these, thank goodness, are minor. Even the major ones are survivable – at least, for most of us most of the time; first love, for example, may be ecstatic, but one’s first disappointment in love is apt to be severely wounding. I think some of us never completely get over it.
