Let’s start our roundtable off by looking at Donald Trump’s most recent controversial statement. Here’s what the former president posted on Truth Social last night:

“I meant what I said about the constitution. If I don’t get to be President even though every real American voted for me, who needs a constitution? Burn it and use ART OF THE DEAL instead! Much smarter and I get royalties!” Peoni Doyenne, what do you think the former president is up to here?
DOYENNE: Well, Bolt. if there’s one thing you can sure about with the former president, it’s that you can’t be sure about anything!
ALL: Chortle, chortle.
DOYENNE: I mean, he certainly knows how to feed red meat to his base. Maybe he figures if his supporters liked it when he tried to stop the Electoral College from certifying the 2020 election, they would have to love this, because the Electoral College is after all part of the constitution.
