I supported Bernie in 2016 but I had a lot of sympathy for the sexist shit thrown at Clinton. I remember when she stumbled because she was ill with pneumonia at a 9/11 event, she was armchair diagnosed as having everything from Parkinson’s disease to menopausal wobblies. If a woman candidate committed even a third of Biden’s gaffes and then had a bloodshot eye in public, the media would have forcibly admitted her to a retirement home and would be looking for her end-of-life directive by now.
I am now obsessed with who gets cast in the roles of Grady, Lamont, and Aunt Esther. Who among the candidates (or media) can pummel Fred/Joe with an enormous handbag?
First of all, that's a scleral hematoma on Biden's eye, which is a common condition unrelated to "bloodshot" eyes that are seen with alcohol intoxication, infectious conjunctivitis (pink eye), noninfectious conjunctivitis, etc., etc. They often appear spontaneously, or with mild trauma (rubbing your eye too hard, pushing during childbirth), especially in those who take daily aspirin, which many of us geezers do but probably shouldn't unless we've already had a heart attack or stroke...
Second, Biden has early dementia and needs an intervention by his family, his doctor and maybe the Obamas so he'll drop out and let a fully compos mentis septuagenarian like Elizabeth Warren get the nomination and the Presidency.
