Joe, please go away.

"Biden" his time, waiting for everyone else to implode--not going to work.

That was Ted Cruz's plan, remember? Praise Trump, wait for him to implode, then swoop in and take his voters. Nope.

If the Republicans can run and win with a candidate who's in the tank for corporate interests and has an extensive record of treating women like inferior beings, why can't the Democrats win with Biden?

Well, because the racism is what put Trump over the top, but I'm guessing you know that.

Besides, why vote for a candidate who's half an asshole when you can go all the way?

Jesus Christ, Roy, that was eerie. Did you have to hit you head to get that so accurate?

A bruise, that will leave.

Gotta note that "old Joe' is doing everything wrong so far. His first fundraiser was hosted by the guy who runs Comcast, one of the most hated corporations in America.

I am, or rather was, on whatever email list Joe is using. Over the first day or two after he announced I got like eight or ten emails begging for money. Never quite been bombarded like that. Finally got sick of it and unsubscribed.

Me too.

One of the best posts so far. You must have read and listened to him so much to get it this right. I was in a grad seminar on theoretical issues in archaeology. For the last class we were asked to write a parody of one of the theorists we had studied. I chose Donald Preziosi, one of the post-modern art historical theorists. That one was almost too easy. Just pull a bunch of quotes from his own works and apply them to the menu at McDonald's. This, though, is more subtle and skilled. I applaud you.

"I chose Donald Preziosi, one of the post-modern art historical theorists. That one was almost too easy." How many of us can say that?

You can tell this was after a whole semester steeped in this stuff. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1v0yVs8LHbNQa78emfT4ZqctLRReIl25wscyHuRFqVhA/edit?usp=sharing

You nicely capture Joe's gregarious and garrulous voice. Joe clearly is all about the centrist Restoration. The betting is that his opening poll of 27% will also be his peak rating. The Democrats have to stop being afraid of the big bully in the White House and focus on GOTV and addressing the manifold real economic and social issues facing the country. Joe and Bernie are yesterday's people.

Gasp! I expect Joe will have a new synonym for 2020. Time being what they are, maybe it'll be "bullshit."

My takeaway from listening to Joe here is that a vote for Liz is a vote for FDR. Headed to her donation site next...

This sounded better when Neil Kinnock said it.

Consider my back slapped! Now here's a guy I want to have a beer with! I might even get a shoulder rub, too! Gee, America, back like we used to be: great! Terrific. And oh yeah, infrastructure!

You easily nailed him, Roy. Just like Trump will. Maybe Hugh Hewitt is right! It won't even be close!
