A shrewd assessment — and infuriating that what is a game to some is the devastation and/or abrupt termination of lives to others.

I feel like posting a photo of an old, beat-up trailer, not far from where I live, which is the epitome of Appalachian squalor: the front yard crammed with junk and a nasty dog to match, and I shudder to think of what the inside of the house looks like and how many vermin live with them. I wonder who they voted for?

Any game can get boring when you're never allowed to lose. Except the racism game. Whitey always wins the racism game because Whitey always loses!

See, White guys are at a crippling disadvantage in this society. Black people get ALL the jobs because of affirmative action. And Black people get all the free stuff, including the super-secret welfare jumbo-benefit package that gives Black people free cars, phones, houses, steaks, clothes, healthcare, and college educations. The poor White guy struggles and struggles and struggles, but he just can't overcome! (But ask him if he'd like to be Black so HE'D get all the advantages and, well, nah--he'll pass on that particular opportunity for success.)

So you see? Whitey loses because he get's no advantages, which is why Whitey controls every fucking thing in the country.

“Democrat party is now being led by four left-wing extremists who reject everything that we hold dear”

You want to know what's NOT funny? Trump harps on this for the next 16 months, there is (as Klobuchar called it) "a mess" in certain states with no paper trail, Trump loses, and he summons his orc army to resist. Which they will, because MAGA. People will die, law enforcement will have to decide in the riots whether to play it straight or not, the GOP will do nothing besides deploring both sides. You heard it here first. Although I don't know what the outcome will be.

"Trump then condemned the 'wasted money' that has led to 'blight' in inner cities run by Democrats."

Yeah, except it's the Deep Red Trump states that suck up Federal money from donor states like New York and California, and from all those overtaxed disgusting liberal cities in them. Not to mention the outright grift-gifts, like Trump's $16 Billion payoff to the farmers he's screwing in the Midwest (since it's not his own money, it's more than the $130,000 Stormy Daniels got, but they're still getting fucked). Besides, when it comes to wasting Federal money, nobody can top the welfare queens in CAT hats soaking up the farm subsidies, water subsidies, and plain old free federal money donated to their multimillion $ estates... I'm sorry, "farms."

"They don’t think of racism as a blight ... they think of it as a game where, as long as you don’t use one of a handful of proscribed words, the black and brown people ... can’t touch you"

This is remarkable. This is totally true.

Over the last 30 years, I have been in many inner cities and rural towns. The only places I felt apprehensive about were Provo, UT and rural northern AL, rural southern TN and rural NW Georgia. Way too many houses with Confederate flags and guns in the latter three. I've never felt apprehensive in a big city

San Francisco most certainly doesn’t have black people in it.

"he engaged 10 or 20 black people to stand up in his crowd Thursday night and hold aloft 'TRUMP & Republicans Are Not RACIST' t-shirts,"

Two hours later

Wife: "You didn't tell me what you were going to do! Why you have to go and show your ass on national TV like that?" Husband: "Baby I did it for us! You know we got bills to pay! They said they'd take care of me!" Wife: "*I'll* take care of you first. 'Cause you gotta sleep sometime."

Like Hillary hatred, racism in the U.S. is too deeply ingrained to ever be rooted out. As Jimmy Stewart (in 'the Shootist') explained to the Duke on discovery he had untreatable bowel cancer, "I'd have to gut you like a fish". How lucky America is going to have to be to deliver a leader that can address the societal ills as well as remedy the civic ones.
