Wait, how many Lianas are there again? Did the same “Liana” who married 10 muslim men ALSO marry Kyle Tyrrell? That’s a lady who really loves her some weddings. My head hurts ….

Although in fairness these sites aren’t really designed to reward close reading.

Yes, rape is never acceptable. Isn't that right, Donald Trump and Brett Kavanaugh?

It’s unfortunately no surprise that the same crowd of family-values conservatives who said it doesn’t matter what a guy did back in high school are now saying it doesn’t matter what a guy did in college. And women will continue to live with the knowledge that two of the six male members of SCOTUS who sit in judgement of their reproductive rights are sexual assailants.

Two of the six *that we know of*. (Smoke, fire &c.)

You don't understand: when they do it, it isn't rape, they're just asserting their property rights.

Mufiz Rahaman a refugee, did assault a 10 year old boy, also a refugee, in Sydney on January 8, 2015. The 20-year-old and his young victim are both stateless Rohingya Muslims - a group of people considered illegal immigrants from Bangladesh by the Buddhist-majority in Myanmar - who came to Australia to flee religious persecution.

However, a 60-year-old Nowra man who pleaded guilty to raping a young boy in Sydney will be sentenced in November. Trevor Dale pleaded guilty to one count of buggery and one count of indecent assault of a male, with the offences occurring in Sydney in late 1979 and early 1980 when Dale was aged 20. So it ain't just Mozzies and it ain't new.

"Like someone was arguing with him about [how wrong it is to rape 10-year-olds]!"

Fred Clark (Slacktivist) had a classic blog post about the "Anti Kitten Burning Coalition"; he noticed that every time a news item appears about sadistic kids setting a kitten on fire, there are letters to the editor which not only express outrage, they plainly suggest that by bravely refusing to agree that it's OK to burn kittens, the letter writer is part of a lonely, persecuted remnant. As Clark says, it's a surefire way of preening yourself about how good you are, without having to get up out of your chair or even do any actual thinking.

Though I hate how the term is usually used now, I feel compelled to point-out that this is for what 'virtue signalling' really was coined. (Third time lucky trying to post this image?:)

I very much liked your comment and illustration, but speaking as a former English teacher, let me say -- with all the gravitas I can gather -- that this sentence demonstrates why the "don't end a sentence with a preposition" rule sucks goat balls.

I like it. It's unpopular, it makes me work, and it makes writing differ from speech.

Sure, I can get these true stories from Gateway Pundit or the up and coming OANN, but I like them best when our own President Trump tweets them out. It's like we're all living in a Tom the Dancing Bug cartoon these days.

"Vitamin shots," oh, yeah, the classic stages of becoming a quack. 1) The new young doctor informs his elderly patient that he won't continue old Doc Friendly's B12 shots unless he has appropriate diagnostic testing, angering Gramps, who swears those shoes make him feel great. 2) After losing some patients over this, young doc agrees that he'll continue giving B12 but he doubts it's actually helping. 3) Finally, a few years on, busy doc tells an oldster who complains he doesn't feel as energetic as he used to, "Why don'y you start these B12 shots, they really help."

According to "Blitzed", Dr Morell's relationship with Hitler started with Mutaflor, a probiotic derived from the gut flora of the only survivor of a dysentery bout an Austrian Great War regiment suffered, I recall. It evidently did wonders for [curing his] excessive flatulence.
