Maybe it's due to the efforts of the libs and socialist Democrat leaders, maybe the virus is just getting smarter with experience, but props to the 'rona for starting to focus on the deserving.
And here's a clue: What do the states with above-national average cases nearly all have in common?
Note to emergency room doctors: when a patriot shows up at the ER with advanced symptoms of Covid-19 and you ask him if he has self-medicated with any veterinary products, it’s a dead giveaway if he starts counting the doses by stamping his foot rather than verbally replying.

Somewhat removed from all this in Japan. But, like the vampire/zombie apocalypses in movies, give it time. I've got a buddy living Thailand who promotes Ivermectin daily, but has never taken it himself; I know a guy locally who refuses the vax (not approved!) but pumps steroids into himself to look good at the beach. I've heard about some older, educated people locally (including some doctors) refusing the vax as being "un-natural" (whatever the fuck that might mean). Pretty sure I was sold animal trank a few times as a youngster (lol), but damned sure that wasn't what I was looking for!
The notion of human perfectibility, though absent nowhere, seems particularly strong in Chinese and Japanese culture, it's the subtext to all the best trashy martial arts movies. Perfection in diet, whether it's monks' food or macrobiotics or diet-dictated-by-blood-group easily slides into that apparatus.
Always great, often brilliant. To wit: "Forget high-priced amoxicillin and take Enrotex Broad Spectrum Antibiotic Bird Supplement that comes in convenient powder form, which makes it easier to give to infants." Encapsulates so much of the current crazy.
Please stop giving airtime to people touting unproven COVID medicines. It's playing havoc with life out here in the Heartland. Yesterday, I caught one of the Blucher kids in the sheep pen and this time he didn't have romance on his mind. He wanted my supply of ivermectin sheep drench! And thanks to the My Pillow guy, this morning I woke up to yet another roving band of yahoos munching on my oleander shrubs. And no more of that "Dr." Fauci with his vaccine nonsense. The only person you should have on is a real doctor, Dr. Stella Immanuel, endorsed by Donald Trump. She knows all about hydroxy as the cure for COVID, and her gynecological advice about demon sperm saved my marriage.
I suppose you can get people to believe anything if you tell them you're letting them in on a great secret. The FDA just gives it away, and how good can information be if it's just free and widely available? Nah, I want that special, super-secret info that only the in-the-know folks can get off Youtube.
All you need to know is that Jesus never used vaccines to heal the sick. Yes, it is true that Jesus submitted to the government and was killed for it, but God the Father rose Jesus from the dead and said "stop being a cuck" and that is a lesson for all of us.
lololol forever, I think you cracked the subtext of all rightwing culture with this one -- every single speech, every tweet, every crackpot article in any of their magazines -- it's all meant to be read as ending with a cry of "Wolverines!" What a bunch of rural high school football heroes holding off communist invasion.

Oregon has a Dem governor but the hot spots are where conservatives are in control so not a great exception to the rule.
Every time a conservative croaks from covid, a liberal somewhere has been thoroughly owned.

Horse's asses. Literally and figuratively.
I have a great joke involving a horse's ass, but it takes at least 10 minutes to tell
A mule is the product of an horse and her favourite (one hopes) ass.
Clever!
We used CoffeeMate, which gave the rails a smooth, creamy sensation (well, that was for the bindles we sold to the squares at the Theta Chi house).

A note on vet bills - mine are usually in the "Jesus Fucking Christ
!!!!" range. Last year I had one in the " Just how many of your kids am I supposed to put through Ohio State?" zone. Thank God for second mortgages.
Yup, just spent a small fortune getting two cats vaccinated. Should have taken them for free covid vaccines.
True patriots take Bravecto and Heartgard. It’s right in the names: “brave” and “heart.” (Also, no more fleas!)
I myself prefer a bracing chew on NexGard.
They tried to pass a second Covid relief bill, but all the Republicans voted neigh.
The mane problem with Republicans is that they never know when to rein it in.

Dear Media,
Please stop giving airtime to people touting unproven COVID medicines. It's playing havoc with life out here in the Heartland. As Anthony Keidis once said, "There's a devil in my dick, & some demons in my semen..."
That is the most Anthony Keidis thing that Anthony Keidis ever Anthony Keidised.
Yeah, that ivermectin thing? I can't even. Wow.

An instant classic from Mr. Edroso. Should be taught in schools.

'Jesus went out for a walk with his mother
The scribes and the pharisees plottinʼ hugger-mugger
They locked him up and they threw away the key
He said "Whyʼs everybody always pickinʼ on me?'"

I prefer to hear their fierce cry of “Wolverines!” in the voice of Ralph Wiggum
