The “confused Vincent Vega thing”! Priceless

How about a Vincent Vega machine-gunned to death finale?

This like all of your "Scenes from the Oval Office" cry out to be staged, and filmed..

I'm waiting for the inevitable Rightwing write-ups explaining how Herman Cain actually died from something else. He simply CAN'T have died from covid because it's just like the flu or a cold! And even if he did, he should have been treated with hydroxy cookies or something, and he'd be alive!

If Louie Gohmert becomes ill and dies, perhaps THAT will convince some of Trump's diehards that this disease is real. And if that's the case, Louie Gohmert, Padishah Emperor of the Crazy People, will have finally done a great public service.

The script is already written and published: Cain had Stage 4 colon cancer, he would've died soon anyway*; he didn't get the virus at the Tulsa rally, he had every right to enjoy his last few weeks of life, etc., etc.

*This, disgustingly enough, is the 81 year old George "I Predicted the iPhone" Gilder's response to all the coronavirus deaths: "Nothing to see here, just old people dying like they were going to anyway." It's a whole industry of alternative epidemiology pushed by places like the Discovery "Ain't No Monkey in Me" Institute (also a Gilder product).

These people are monsters. Remind me again which Party is all about Moral Majority and Right to Life?

I almost forgot George Gilder. Thanks. Not.

This seems to be what's behind the asymptomatic Gohmert taking hydrofuckingbleachaquine to manage his non-existent symptoms and hey presto! a cure that supports our Dear Leader

I did not know Lionel Hampton was an active Republican.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel_Hampton:

"Hampton was a staunch Republican and served as a delegate to several Republican National Conventions.[34] He served as Vice-Chairman of the New York Republican County Committee for some years[35] and also was a member of the New York City Human Rights Commission.[6] Hampton donated almost $300,000 to Republican campaigns and committees throughout his lifetime.[36] "

A genuine shame because I really like Hampton--especially his work with Goodman. OTOH, by all accounts, Goodman was a genuine asshole, so I can see how maybe that helped bring them together.

James Brown was a big-time conservative, and campaigned for Nixon. Nixon, in turn, placed Brown in his enemies list.

"it’s tough on the colored but not on the white men."

Or, as Trump sees it in his mind, certain victims have a big letter "C" on God's life or death forms.

So in this story, have Trump and Kushner literally been confined, or are they just freaking out? I'm thinking this would be an interesting way for Pence and/or McConnell to get them out of the way and thus minimize the damage to the GOP in November.

Expand full comment

There's no minimizing the damage. This is Deep State/Putin.

I've quit reading your missives in the morning, Roy. I've learned to wait until I'm home from my daily postal stuff and have a cocktail in hand. Cheers, Maestro. 🍸🍹🍻🥂🥃🍷🍾
