One of the funniest things about this election is the Trump campaign’s utter failure to demonize Uncle Joe. Biden’s white and a man so he has that going for him, and the fact is Americans just don’t find him scary. The worst the GOP has been able to come up with is accusing him of being senile – and with President I-Can-Identify-a-Picture-of-an-Elephant-What-a-Stable-Genius in the White House that’s a tough sell. Oh, and also claiming Biden’s a puppet of the left wing; except every time Biden opens his mouth he sounds like a moderate Democrat.
I thought that “You won’t be safe” ad was beyond parody, but I failed to take your imagination into account. I won’t make that mistake again. Looking forward to your take on Trump’s attack ads about some stupid thing Biden did in 1985.
This ad, of course, has already been made except for the last part and The Lincoln Project has made a similar ad against Trump. The whole Apres moi, le chaos schtick isn’t working if the suburban moms and dads are coming out against Trump’s goons.
And a thought experiment: Which will come first: Donnie flat out saying, without qualification, that everyone should where masks pending an available vaccine or 200,000 Americans dead from Covid, more of them than not due to Donnie and the GOP's historic mishandling of the pandemic? And if one leans towards the former, how many will have died of Covid when Donnie says what any responsible POTUS would say given the circumstances?

America has never seen an election like the one that's coming up - there will be troops in the streets of the cities (at least democratic ones) and vote suppression at polling places.

Since Karl Rove would always go after an opponent's greatest strength, and Biden's greatest advantage is that he is not Donald Trump, once they run through Roy's Joe Biden's America, they'll have to go after his not-Trumpness. We'll see ads just like the Swiftboating of John Kerry that feature people who worked in government "with" Joe Biden testifying how Joe is really just like Trump: he's a fascist who lies all the time, stiffs his employees, fucks pornstars, even grabs pussies. "Joe Biden says he's not like Trump. Don't believe him. He's more Trump than Trump is! So vote for Donald Trump. He's the only candidate who doesn't lie about who he really is."
