Too much like real life Roy

For the record: Giuliani doesn’t have sufficient sense or inclination to East on Donnie.

Too: I still haven’t forgiven Donna Hanover Ford not bearing Rudy’s head in when she beamed him for shtupping his press secretary.

As for that 22% poll thing... dunno if Roy’s making it up but maybe the polls are a little high structurally from people compelled to show their respect for the office?

This is great. Bloomberg is so dry. It must be incredibly difficult to navigate between the loony Rudy we see on TV and the person who must still exist underneath who's still able to calculate. I felt like he was giving in too easy but then I thought that's how Bloomberg with his infinite money and class membership would affect him.

This column is like a 3D viewer - more real than the real thing.

Based on that shot of the boys at the cigar bar sitting around waiting for the Boss to call, maybe you need a touch more Damon Runyon.

"I am sitting at Lindy's and looking in the Racing Form when in walks Rosie Bloomberg. 'I have got something for you,' he says. 'Donnie The Dumb asks me to be his new Vice-President instead of the busted valise he has now. Not liking my chances on the home stretch of course I say no, and tell him he'd better cash out now before the bulls come to see him.'"

The verisimilitude of this is awe-inspiring, except that I doubt any Republican candidate could ever fall below the magic 27%: "Christie's approval rating in the Monmouth poll stood at a dismal 27%, while 63% disapproved of the job the governor is performing." "PRINCETON, NJ -- According to a Sept. 26-27 [2008] USA Today/Gallup poll, just 27% of Americans approve of the job George W. Bush is doing as president, the lowest rating of his presidency." "A Roanoke College poll released Monday found that more than half of potential Virginia voters — 53 percent — said they disapproved of Trump’s performance, while 27 percent said they approved." "Worldwide confidence in Trump remained low at 27 percent..." "Twenty-seven percent. That's Gov. Bobby Jindal's approval rating in Louisiana..."

…but it doesn't mean that they're going to choke on our vomit.

Very nice. I hope Rudy's paying attention, btw: Roger Stone has just been convicted on all counts.
